FUNDED TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
FILM trainees have been offered an awesome funded training opportunity thanks to a Cape Film Commission – Services Seta Film Sector Skills Development Project.
Selected Learners will have the opportunity to complete either the full New Venture Creation Qualification or a series of Business and Life Skills Programmes.
| Programme | Funded Value |
| New Venture Qualification | R24 500 per learner |
| Business and Life Skills Programme | R11 250 per learner |
Placing selected learners on the programme amounts to substantial training value to FILM and our trainees.
For example: 15 learners on the full qualification would equate to R367 500. As per discussions we have allocated a minimum of 15 places for your learners that meet the entry criteria and we can allocate 50 places on skills programmes, the total value being R562 500.
The funding is directly allocated to the training providers and the Seta appointed project administration and management agency.
Selected FILM trainees will simply have to attend a fully managed and quality assured programme that can be integrated into our existing FILM programme.
In addition, all industry input into the programme will be recorded and integrated into skills development and BBBEE scorecard and tax rebate reporting criteria.
