Anyone with any experience in the film industry will know that a career in this field involves a tough path from entry-level employee to a management position or Head of Department (HoD) – a path that will almost certainly take many years of incredibly hard work, passion, sacrifice, professionalism, commitment and dedication.
While on the one hand, there aren’t many formal qualifications required to start working in the industry, it can be difficult to break through to senior and management levels. If you’ve tried every which way to move on up the career ladder and been repeatedly frustrated in your attempts, then the Film Industry Learner Mentorship Program (FILM) may be able to help you develop the skills and experience that will make a crucial difference to your success.
Once you have become an active member of FILM, we will work closely with you to establish and pursue a successful career by taking small, achievable steps and developing a customized PERSONAL CAREER PATH and PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN.
